ABBY ENGGASS
Dealing one on one with people, making them feel like they are her only clients, is what Abby Enggass is all about. Her philosophy is simple: constant, consistent communication. "Having bought and sold homes myself, I understand how intense and exciting the process can be. Communication is imperative through the whole transaction. It helps us ALL sleep better. Doing right by my clients is my priority, I have found the livelihood will follow."

Abby has been with Camden Real Estate for eleven years, and she says she can't imagine working anywhere else. "It's a classy place that is always trying to improve its service to the community. I appreciate that, because I'm like that - I'm always looking for ways to improve, too."

This drive has motivated Abby throughout her career to acquire accreditations as a Certified Residential Specialist(CRS)and Accredited Buyer Representative(ABR). "Education is extremely important in this business, as well as staying on top of technology." She is quick to add, however, that classes and accreditations go only so far. "The real education comes from getting to know the buyers and sellers on a personal level. That's actually the most fun part of the job." Building that personal connection also helps her understand which properties meet clients' needs. "I know that buying or selling a home is an emotionally charged decision, and you need someone who isn't in the middle of all that to help sort it out. I go the extra mile and do the research to make sure it's a smooth transaction."

Abby stays involved in Realtor organizations, including six years with
the Mid-Coast Board of Realtors. She was president of the organization as well as chairperson of the Realtors Giving Back Committee, helping with affordable housing needs in the community. In 2001, Abby's peers voted her Realtor of the Year.

Abby has been working out of her home since having her daughter, Lily and son Boston.
