Legend has it that Hatchet Mountain, rising 1,100 feet above sea level, got it's name back in the 1700's when the warring leaders of the Tarrantine and Wawenock's ended their feud by burying the ''hatchet'' This quaint cottage is in the Village of Hope Maine, 6 miles from Camden.
